environmental site assessments are performed and formatted in general
accordance with the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM)
Standard Practice E1527. Guidance documents prepared by Michigan
Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) are followed for completion
of hydrogeological investigations, verification of soil remediation and
remedial action plans. Our soil and groundwater sampling methods and
procedures are conducted in general accordance with recommendations of
the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Sagasser &
Associates, Inc. is a qualified underground storage tank consultant
(QUSTC), as developed by the MDEQ.
In general, the services provided by Sagasser &
Associates, Inc. consist of initially identifying the specific
requirements of the client; developing alternatives to achieve these
requirements; explaining each alternative’s advantages and
disadvantages; completing the alternative selected based on the client's
needs; and explaining the subsequent results, our conclusions and our
recommendations.
The main goal of Sagasser & Associates, Inc. is
to identify practical solutions for addressing a project's specific
conditions. It is our philosophy to explain the environmental situations
in common terms for ease in the client's understanding of the services
recommended or proposed. Sagasser & Associates, Inc. strives to
maintain a "common-sense" approach to assessments and remediation. This
is completed by maintaining active communication between the client
and/or regulatory agencies to ensure the services provided by Sagasser
& Associates, Inc. will aid the progression of the project.
